Blanketed with evergreens and boasting spectacular views of Lake Washington, Medina is an oasis of wealth and wild beauty. This highly walkable town provides residents with exclusive neighborhoods and an abundance of privacy, all set against a stunning view of snow-capped mountains and sparkling water.
Although it’s unimaginable today, the meticulously landscaped, pristine streets of Medina were once not only wild and rustic, they were up for grabs. As part of the Homestead Act of 1862, large parcels of land were handed over to settlers willing to brave the wild conditions and build a community from scratch. A few intrepid adventurers did just that, and by 1890, there were 20 landowners, including Medina’s first permanent settler, Thomas Dabney.
Cherie’s natural way with people and an innate ability to determine what they were looking for in a home allowed her to quickly build a valued client base she maintains to this day.
